Datafile Software Use Standard Account / Stock Maintenance Screens Sales and Purchase Order Processing can be configured to allow the creation of new account and stock records during order input. These options, however, use their own maintenance screens separate from those defined within the applications meaning that changes in the main screens may have to be replicated in the order processing applications. In addition the main application screens have been extended over the years to allow additional lookup options and two screens for maintenance which is not available when create via order processing. New, in Release 6.1, are options to use the standard account and stock maintenance screens. Installation Application User FacilitiesWithin the ‘Enter/Amend Orders’ options within the Application User
Facilities when you select the ‘Create New Account’ or ‘Create New Stock’ options the system will first prompt ‘Use the
same screen(s) as configured for ....’If set then the system will exit back to the menu and, at run-time if
press the <F7-Option> key to create new account or stock record the
system will use the standard maintenance screens. |
