Large File Sizes

Database files and saved document files within Datafile have a maximum file size of 2GB.With the increase in database size on previous releases (doubling the maximum items per database to 320 and the maximum record size to 4K per record) and developments to the document designs increasing the size required to save the document some users have reported they are close to this limit.

From Release 6.4 this limit is removed and there is no longer a maximum file size to a database or the saved documents file – subject to available disk space of course. Note that, with regards to databases, the maximum number of records allowed per application/product level is unchanged.
