Instant Print Document Selection 5.6

When selecting the document to print via the PRINT option on the order detail menu you first choose the document type and then, if more than one allowed, the document to process.This option changes the PRINT action so it shows a menu, similar to the hard copy action in ProFiler, of the documents available.

Installation

Application User Facilities

The option to control how the ‘Print’ action displays the documents is available within the Instant Print features.

To access the Instant Print Features select, from the main menu, Installation followed by Advanced Features Manager and Application User Facilities. Select the sales or purchase order processing application and then select Enter/Amend Orders followed by Advanced Input Facilities, and then Instant Print.

Offer Instant Print as Full Menu

When set three pop-up screens are displayed, one per document type – acknowledgements, delivery notes and invoices – and you are asked to select whether the document is offered on the menu and, if so, whether it is processed automatically.
