the detail entry screen or via <F7> on the stock code input – will prompt
for the assembly code. <F4-Select>

known. Once selected a pick list of the
assembly components is displayed. As with ‘standard’ quick forms the system lists the entries and you can scroll up/down and press <enter> to change the quantity or price (subject to configuration) together with any extra items. In addition, if an image is linked to the component record you can click the image icon on the toolbar to display an image for the selected entry. If setting a filter option this option allows you to nominate the item, condition and matching value to test. Records that match the criteria are hidden from selection. Filter Components on Generate – an Assembly may contain additional items that aren’t appropriate for inclusion in a sales order. You may wish to exclude comments or works order operation; exclude labour entries etc. from the generated order details. Setting this option allows for the entry of criteria against the component database that restricts the components processed when creating sales order details. Note that the initial pick list shown from the components continues to display items from the assembly that do not match the criteria, the criteria only applies to the order lines generated. Component Item for Description – nominate an item from the component file used within the ‘Description’ column for the Quick Form for any Comment or Note component lines within the assembly.
