Job Costing Category Analysis

The Job Costing Ledger Enquiry allows an option ANALYSIS that summaries the transactions for the job up to a particular date by category with further zoom options from here to a summary for the cost code and then finally to the individual transactions.

From Release 6.2 the transactions processed are for a date range rather than up to the current date.

On entry of the date range if you leave both dates blank then all transactions for the job are summarised, if set the ‘from’ date but leave the ‘to’ date blank then all transactions from the entered start date are summarised, and if set the ‘to’ date but leave the ‘from’ date blank then all transactions up to the entered end date are summarised.

Installation

No changes are required for this facility; the date range option is available immediately on update to Release 6.2 (assuming that the Analysis option is configured for use).
