Datafile Software Specific Trading Partner Notes - Spicers Also have their own set of order codes. This is wider than for Kingfield Heath, they also have an extra option — the "parcel open” indicator — for orders picked and wrapped for delivery to the dealer (not implemented yet). Although they make use of the extra XML elements defined by the opXML standard, they have chosen to use the prefix BOSS (rather than OP) for the namespace that defines these extra elements. All opXML elements that are prefixed OP have had to be repeated in the Datafile templates with the prefix BOSS. For direct delivery to the dealer’s customer, a "service code” is required to specify the type of delivery (next day, before 10am, etc) — not implemented yet. Spicers concatenate their branch code onto the customer account code. This must be handled through fields in the GLU file, the branch code only ever entered for Spicers. Spicers have a list of 3-digit codes for addresses, and these may be used instead of the full address. We’ve not implemented this in the Datafile order template. It is not required to send pack sizes or prices in the order to Spicers, but no harm is done if they are sent. |
