Datafile Software Missing Element Tags For an output XML file template, if an element is optional, then you can ask that it be omitted in the output file by using a "test” attribute within the element in the template. For incoming XML files, if an element might be present, then you should include it in the template, even though you give it the null form <element name/>. If an element is found in an incoming XML file that is not recognised within the template, then an error message is generated, and the XML transaction will not be processed. |
