Datafile Software XML Template Display Once the second parameter screen is completed, and any selection criteria entered, then the Datafile XML template is now displayed. The eventual intention is that you would be able to write and amend the Datafile template at this point, but at present all that occurs is a check that the template is a well-formed XML document. For a new Database In or Out transaction, you are asked if you would like to use the template wizard, which allows you to create a simple template for this process. If there is an error in the structure of the existing template you are warned, and the line containing the error is highlighted in red. Note that only the first parsing error found is displayed; each further error will only be displayed once you have corrected the one at which parsing has stopped. You’ll need to exit the transaction definition process, and edit the template with (say) the Microsoft NotePad accessory, in order to continue. |
