Print and Build Documents within Bill of Materials allow the system to validate the component issue quantity against the physically available value on the stock record. If insufficient stock on any component line, the system can then prompt for the document process to be abandoned.
When Bill of Materials documents are configured for ‘automatic processing’ – i.e. set to process several works orders in turn based on default settings then confirming the abandonment of the individual order from processing was still required. Now the system will automatically abandon the processing of the works order if insufficient stock when processed on an automatic build document. Installation No parameter changes are required for this feature over and above the BoM document being configured for automatic processing and to prompt to abandon the document if insufficient stock. |
