Datafile Software Application Differences - Nominal Ledger - Updates from Other Systems These operate exactly the same as for the standard nominal ledger. However, where updates are made from foreign currency transactions, then the currency value of the update is also posted to the transaction when updated in detail.Where foreign currency transactions are posted into a base currency nominal account, whether in detail or in summary, any foreign currency values which may have been present are ignored. Note that the base currency must be the same for the two systems involved in such an update. |
