Datafile Software Typical XML Purchase Order Cycle The XML application menu shown above was designed for the stationery industry — BOSSFed is the Business Offices Supplies and Services Federation. The left-hand side contains the purchase order cycle options, and the right-hand side options are virtually the same as for the sales order cycle — the Lookup File Maintenance option is a sub-menu in the case of that cycle. Although the above menu assumes just a single XML process for each option, should you purchase from suppliers who are using different XML standards, you may be given additional menu choices, one for each standard. As an alternative your reseller may have linked the different standards of transaction together so that all files are output or processed together. |
