Datafile Software Stock Statement - Stock Control A stock statement gives you a printed "record card” for each stock item, showing details about the stock item, followed by a list of all the transaction movements which have occurred in the last period — you can print more history if you have kept stock transactions on file (determined by the stock System Profiles). You can display the record card to the screen, which gives an alternative way to view stock items than through the DeskTop <Alt–L> Ledger Enquiries or Stock Enquiry functions. The report preamble follows the same set of questions as the stock reports defined above, with the addition of a few extra questions. The additional questions are: Exclude if no transactionsThis excludes printing stock items for which there are no transactions on file — in other words, for which there have been no movements in the current period. Transaction Records in Range From/ToThe default setting is to print only transactions that have occurred in the current period. The transaction record numbers shown here are those of the first and last transaction in the current period. You can change either of these. For example, if you are keeping transactions for the whole year, you can overtype the first record number with "1” so that all transactions for the year print on the stock statement. Once you have answered all the report preamble questions, the stock statements are printed in the usual way. Once the report is complete, you are returned to the main stock reports menu. |
