Adjust Basic Pay by Statutory Payment Values

When a salaried employee is in receipt of Statutory Pay an employer often ‘offsets’ these values against the employee’s normal pay so that they continue to receive the same salary. If this is the case then during payroll input you had to manually take off the statutory payment value from the basic pay and type in the amended basic pay value.This new feature allows you to press the F7 key on the basic pay input to adjust the ‘default’ value by the total of the statutory payments.

No set-up changes are required for this feature; this facility is available immediately on update to Release 6.3
