Bank Reconciliation – Default Date for New Transactions |

Datafile Software Bank Reconciliation – Default Date for New Transactions The bank reconciliation process allows for the generation of new transactions, via the <F5> key, for any postings you may find have been missed when reconciling. However, when you do this the period/date defaulted related to current period/date when you are likely to be reconciling historical transactions. From this update the new transaction date will default to the date of the transaction currently highlighted when press the <F5> key to add a new transaction, the period will be set consistent with this.
