Product Code X (16) The prime index of the product file holding the product code itself
Description X (48) Holds the first line of description for the product item. An optional second item is profiled later.
Issue Unit X (5) Holds a descriptive issue unit – i.e. EACH, GROSS etc.
Cost Price K, L, M Holds the cost price of the product item
Default Tax Code X (1) Holds the tax code to be used for this product item by default.
Nominal Sales X (10) Holds the nominal code to be used for sales invoice/credits
Nominal Purchase X (10) Holds the nominal code to be used for purchase invoice/credits
Analysis Sales N, T Holds the analysis code to be used for sales invoice/payments
Analysis Purchase N, T Holds the analysis code to be used for purchase invoice/payments
Product Group N, T Categories stock items into groups and is used as an option within the Discount Matrix facilities.
Price Per Qty N Product Prices can be sold per n, i.e. £10 per 5
Cost Per Qty N As with selling prices the cost price can be held per n
Memo Reference Y (6) Holds the reference number for any memo attached to the product record
Alt EC VAT Code X (1) Holds the alternate code used for this product when selling/buying for a customer with a default VAT code set as an EC VAT code in the VAT Table.
