When a ProFiler Automatic (Q) menu option is selected then each option on that menu is processed in turn and at the start of the menu process the system will prompt for the printer to use for any report listings in the Q-menu.
Existing options within the ProFiler menu
configuration allow you to automatically print any reports to the current
printer or to the disk spooler; Release 6.4 adds the option to automatically
print any reports to email.
Default printer settings are applied by entering characters within the Parameter-2 input of the Q-Menu configuration. Options allowed now are:
SP - Print Any Report to Disk Spool
XP - Automatically accept current printer
EM - Print Any Report to Email
Note that if a User-Defined report has a default printer set this will be overridden by the SP and EM parameters, if no default is set (or set to XP), then the User-Defined report default will be applied for this and any subsequent printed output in the Q-menu chain.
