Omit Refresh of Pricing

If you enter the customer account code at the end of an account or cash sale order then the system applies the customer’s standard pricing structure (price band and matrix entries) to the entries on the order. This new feature allows you to omit this refresh of prices and accept those displayed/confirmed during entry.

Installation

Application User Facilities

The option to omit refresh of pricing is on the second screen of the Point-of-Sale Features within the Sales Order Processing Application User Facilities.

To access the Point-of-Sale Features select from the main menu Installation followed by Advanced Features Manager and Application User Facilities. Select the sales order processing application and then select Enter/Amend Orders followed by Point of Sale.

Omit Recalc of Prices if a/c at end?

Set to omit the recalculation of prices by re-applying the price band or matrix entries when you select the customer account after entering the order details.

If Omit Recalc, then recalc if price band changes?

When you enter an order, confirming the account code at the end of order entry, the system uses the price band of the ‘default’ account. This option allows the system to continue and recalculate the prices if the selected customers’ price band is different from the default account.

If Omit Recalc, then apply matrix entries?

If omitting the recalculation you may still want to apply specific matrix entries for the account.Set to do this.
