Ignore ‘Stock Not Exist’ Error

If the stock code referenced on the input record does not exist then that input record was rejected.A new option has been added to allow the import to proceed – note though that the stock record must be added prior to document production or the document will fail (and if reserving stock you must manually reserve the qty ordered through stock control).

Installation

Within the Application User Facilities for the appropriate Order Processing system a new option has been added to the Batch Import parameters

Accept Stock Rec Not Found – set to accept the input record if a referenced stock item does not exist on the Datafile Stock Database.
