Database Audit

Use this option to check the internal integrity of any of the Bill of Materials application files. If you’re sure that a particular record is in the file but you cannot select it via the indexes then you might want to use this option on that file.

Really the only events liable to disturb the integrity of a database are power/hardware failures or an attempt to process a database in an outside program. The database audit checks every record in the file to make sure it is genuinely active and rebuilds its indexes from scratch.

When you choose this option the works order header and detail databases are listed for you to select from – it is recommended that if you have the need to do one of the databases within the application you should probably do them all and follow it up with the ‘Audit Pointers’ option.
