Datafile Software User-Defined Reports - Default Printer Settings Release 6.4 extends the default printer options
available for a user-defined report allowing options to default printer to PDF
or email as well as a specific printer or disk spooler plus control over
whether the report is to be printed automatically to that device without user
control. Automatically Default to Printer Number – existing options to default to the ‘Old’ Datafile printers 1-16 plus 99 for disk spooling have been extended to include: 102 Email 106 (Operating System) Printer
Auto-Print – set to print to the selected device automatically when the report is run rather than prompting the operator to confirm the default selection (or amend if required). Alternative Default Printer – existing prompt allowing you to specify the default printer from the operating system. If set then this will override the default printer number above where appropriate, if the default printer is set to 106 you must select a printer here. |
